Stage 1: Undermine Trust
Attack Institutions: Constantly claim that elections, courts, media, and bureaucracies are corrupt or biased.

Use Economic Pressure: Reward loyalists with jobs and contracts; punish critics economically.
Stage 5: Consolidate Dictatorship
Create a Cult of Personality: Build an image as the only person capable of leading the nation. Demand loyalty over legality.
Militarize Governance: Place military or paramilitary forces into civil government roles.
Eliminate Civil Liberties: Gradually strip away freedom of speech, privacy, and due process — but make each step seem "necessary."
